Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about city weekends: neighbourhood routes, cultural outings, food stops, outdoor pauses and the choices that make limited free time feel well spent.
What makes a strong pitch
Start with one distinct reader question or decision. Explain the proposed angle, what the reader will take away and why it suits a city commuter with finite time. A strong pitch is specific, independently reasoned and useful without relying on a packed schedule or a claim of a perfect way to spend a day.
Keep the scope clear
We are interested in evergreen service pieces, cultural context and well-framed comparisons. Avoid unsupported claims, promotional copy, copied work and advice that depends on readers assuming local rules or current conditions are the same everywhere.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page to send your pitch, including a working title, a short outline and any relevant experience or links to published work. Do not send a completed article unless requested; a proposal is enough for an initial review.
A good weekend has room to breathe
We favour a clear starting point, a manageable plan and enough open time to notice what is around you.
