Editorial policy
Prime Weekend Journal aims to make its city leisure coverage clear, useful and candid about what it can establish. We separate general planning ideas from details that can change, and correct published errors when identified.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, descriptions and factual details before publication and write so readers can tell what is advice, opinion or description. Plans involving opening times, access, events or other changeable details should be confirmed with the venue or organiser.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and fit with our coverage. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage, and partners do not determine our editorial conclusions.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error or unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review reports and amend material when warranted, making the correction clear where the change matters to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid collaborations and partner placements are labelled clearly so readers can distinguish them from editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where that is relevant to understanding an image, we identify it accordingly.
A good weekend has room to breathe
We favour a clear starting point, a manageable plan and enough open time to notice what is around you.
